Building an Origami Owl® Living Locket®

So you've stumbled upon Origami Owl® but have no idea how to get started? I can help you with that! There are five simple steps that go into building your unique design.

1. Choose your Charms

  • Select the charms that best suit the look that you are going for. Whether it be family, friends, faith, a hobby or your dreams, you can never choose too many! Origami Owl® Living Lockets® open on a hinge and are held closed by magnets. You can always change out your charms if you find you have chosen more than what your ideal locket size will fit! Thats one of the special things that I love about my Origami Owl® lockets!

  • With many different colors and 3 different sizes, Origami Owl® has something for everyone. Lockets come in mini, medium, and large. Not sure how big this is exactly? Well think coins! A mini is about the size of a dime, medium is close to a nickel and the large is slightly larger than a quarter!

  • There are so many fabulous chains to choose from! Have you ever thought of mixed metals? Choose a different chain color for a trendy appearance, or stay classic and elegant with an all gold or silver look. There are many lengths available ranging from 16" to 32", which is sure to provide an option for everyone!

4. Add a Plate (optional)
  • With three sizes and colors our handstamped plates make the perfect background to your charms to give your locket that extra pop. Choose the word(s) that mean the most to you to add something special to your Living Locket®! You can try a layering look by mixing a small, medium, and large plate alone (without the charms) as well!
  • Don't forget our beautiful crystal window plates! They make any locket look stunning with a stand alone look. Pair a locket and window plate for a fabulous combination and new style!
  • NOTE: Be sure to pay special attention to the size of the plate you are ordering. Not all plates fit in every locket. Remember, large plates fit large lockets, medium plates fit both medium and large lockets, and so does a small plate. The small plates are not recommended to go in the mini lockets. They are slightly larger and may become stuck!

5. Add a Dangle (optional)
  • Dangles make a beautiful addition to your already designed locket, and can also be worn alone for a simple and fun look.

With so many options to choose from, you can create a different option every day! If you are ready to get started you can shop my site at any time! Still have a question? Send me an email or find me on Facebook! I'd love to chat!
